What is the Cash Sweep program?
Cash Sweep is a program that generates interest from your idle cash. Provided by Moomoo Canada, it is currently available only for margin and cash accounts. When you have uninvested cash in your securities account, it will be automatically invested in the program to generate interest regularly. Joining the program will not reduce your buying power or affect your trading of securities.
How to join the Cash Sweep program?
To join the Cash Sweep program, follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to the Accounts tab.
Step 2: Tap on any of your margin or cash accounts.
Step 3: Tap the icon on the right of the Cash label.
Note: Your cash balance and interest are updated daily at 5:00 PM. To check your balance in the Cash Sweep program, please refer to the settled cash shown in your statement.

How to receive interest payments?
The interest in the Cash Sweep program accrue daily and are paid weekly. They will be deposited into your securities account each Monday, even on non-trading days.
Your total Cash Sweep balance is calculated by adding up your CAD cash and USD cash after converting USD to CAD at a fixed exchange rate. It is updated daily at 5:00 PM and equals the settled cash shown in your daily statement from the previous trading day.
