● Purchasing 2,000 shares of ABC at C$0.20 per share:
Platform fee = 2,000 x C$0.001 = C$2.00
Commission = 2,000 x C$0.0005 = C$1.00
Total charged: C$3.00
● Purchasing 400 shares of ABC at C$0.20 per share:
Platform fee = 400 × C$0.001 = C$0.40
Commission = 400 × C$0.0005 = C$0.20
Since the minimum platform fee (C$1.00) and minimum commission (C$0.49) apply,
Total charged: C$1.49
3. Electronic communication networks (ECNs) and/or specialist fees may apply, depending on the execution venue.
