Start Trading

Once your brokerage account is ready and your deposit has been reviewed and credited to your account, you can easily access the trade page to start trading.

• Path 1: Via a quotes page
  • On the Watchlists page, select a symbol to enter its quotes page.
  • Tap the Trade button at the bottom of the page.

• Path 2: Via the Accounts page
  • On the Accounts tab, select the account you'd like to trade from.
  • Tap the Trade button on the right of the Positions section.
  
  • Tap the Buy/Sell button on the Trading Page.
  • Enter the Trading Password.
    

(Please be reminded that a trading password is set by yourself for trading purposes, which will be different to the one you setup for the moomoo app log in. You may cross reference to Chapter 5.5.1 on how to set and reset the trading password.)

Switch trade modes

Moomoo offers two trade page interfaces to suit different user preferences:

• Lite mode: Designed for simplicity, offers an intuitive interface and is user-friendly for new users.
• Pro mode: Supports a variety of trading strategies and order types, and displays the depth of market or order book.

To switch modes, simply tap Lite or Pro at the top right of the trade page, then select your desired mode.
