How to Exchange Currency on moomoo?
In this passage, we will show you how you can create a currency exchange request.
Step 1
First, go to the "Trade" page and tap on "Currency Exchange".
Step 2
Select the currency and enter the amount you intend to exchange. For example, if you wish to convert Australian dollars into US dollars, select AUD and USD at the top. You can also tap on full exchange if you would like to exchange the total amount available in your account. Our system will calculate your current exchangeable amount automatically and display the equivalent exchanged amount.
On this page, you can view the exchange rates and the estimated completion time. Please note that the exchange rate is for reference purposes only.
Step 3
Click 'Submit' and 'Confirm' the currency exchange request, and your currency conversion request is successful and get an indication of when the currency exchange will be completed.
There are two periods that need to be noticed:
1 Real-time completion period
Please take note that for exchange orders submitted during the weekdays, you can expect the conversion to be completed in real-time between 9.00 am - 7.00 am.
Exchange instructions submitted between 9:00 am(AEST) Monday (10:00 am AEDT) to 07:00 am Saturday are expected to be completed in real time.
2 Non-real-time completion period
For orders that are made during weekends and public holidays, the currency exchange will be completed at the next nearest exchange opening time. For example, exchange orders submitted on Sunday will be completed on Monday at 9:00 am AEST (10:00 AEDT). (We will be notified separately on holidays, please pay attention to relevant announcements.)
Step 4
Tap "Exchange History" to view the currency exchange requests you have made in the past.
